A Photography Session
A portrait commission consists of the stages listed below. If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to contact me. I love collaborating and helping people get great images.
We can do this by phone or email, but the most successful way is to meet face to face at least once, even if it’s on Skype. It gives us a chance to meet and discuss ideas so the photo shoot goes smoothly. The more we communicate, the better we can meet our expectations. At this stage you decide if you want to book a sitting with me.
The time booked includes the set up and shooting pictures. Set up generally takes twenty minutes depending on the complexity of the shoot. The photography takes about 1-2 hours including breaks, depending on your needs and schedule. Please remember this time needs a bit of flexibility especially on location shoots. Unforeseen circumstances like weather may prolong a shoot beyond the expected time.
I edit the images, checking for color and composition and make sure they are ready to go.
I email a notice that your images are ready for inspection on the website and give you a password to your private page where you can look at images from the shoot and choose your image.
Turnaround Time for image inspection on the web is about one week from the day of the shoot. Barring changes, a disk is ready for you within two days of final client proofing. Printed images may take up to a week depending on time ordered.
Getting Your Images:
Images can be downloaded digitally or sent on a USB memory drive of images you choose to purchase. Prints take longer due to printing time and delivery.
Please enquire about sitting fee (which includes consultation, photo shoot and editing. Prices will depend on location and equipment.
